The pratipada of Ashwin Shukla Pakshai.e the ShardiyaNavratriPoojan will begin from 13th octomber , 2015. On this day there will be HashtNakshatra, Brahma Yoga. People who are the devotees of MaaSharda for them this day keeps the special importance. People keeps the fast for nine days with full of dedication and devotion. MaaShradha blesses her devotees with happiness and prosperity. From this Navratri, the season starts changing and the days will become shorter as the winter will start from this day. In order to avoid the effect of climate change there is a tradition to do the puja and keep fasts for whole of the nine days.

People keep these fasts to gain good health and virtue and consume the plain food only and meditate to god. When the goddess is worshipped for whole of the nine days than the devotees get the power to fight from all the evil energies. In a year Navratri is observed two times, the first Navratri falls in the Chaitra month from the Pratipada to Navami and the second one is celebrated exactly after the six months in the Pratipada of Ashwn Shukla Paksha just a day before Vijayadashmi. The shradanavratri is given the more importance among the devotees.

The festival of Navratri keeps the special importance in the hearts of the devotees. The visit the temples of the Goddess and worship her with full faith and devotion in order to get the blessings of the Goddess. During the nine days, the nine forms of Goddess are worshipped each day and the rituals are performed generally in the night. The significance behind the rituals performed at night is that during that time everything is in peace, there is no disturbance and the power of all the tantras and mantras become stronger at night. The concentration level is stronger at night and the mantras recited at peaceful place makes it more significant and the results from it are very good. The mental power can also be increased during this time.

The day of Durga Puja marks the beginning of the ShardaNavratri and thee tantra-mantra are being recited on this day. It is also suggested that the devotees should worship any planet so that they gain prosperity and peace in their life. It is very necessary to pacify the planets and the mantras recited during the days of Navratri will pacify all the planets and will give you the auspicious results. All the wishes and desires are completed on this day and the Kalash is also established at home on the first day of Navratri.

There are two more Navratris apart from the Chaitra and AshwinPaksha and they are: Guptnavratra of Ashadh Shukla Paksha and second one is GuptNavratra of Magh Shukla Paksha. These two Navratris are celebrated to accomplish the goals of life.
